Hi,

I've tested it one more time with a BD folder on my drive, and it seems to work. Please see my capture.

If it is not the same one your side, please share some screenshots/screen records.

Thank you

Greetings

Hicham

I rip blurays to BD folder with Redfox AnyDVD HD and have the latest AMD video drivers installed and have never seen this problem.

Thank you for your help to resolve this ongoing problem.

We don’t have issue with .mkv or .ISO files. We have problems with Blu-ray movies into a folder. Let me explain:

I have a collection of blue-ray movies. Those movies I copied to a Hard Drive into a computer (I use DVDFab to copy). I didn’t copy as ISO or MKV file, just as movie folder with sub directories likes MDMV and Certificate.

Normally and before those updates, I start playing the movie with one click. I can archive that only with PC mode.

I hope will clarified the situation,

Eddy

Hi Hicham,

At last has been fixed...!

I downloaded the build 2406 patch and installed.

I highlight the movie folder and press the spacebar and the movie start. On the other hand, I press the arrow (play) button form my control remote and... THE MOVIE START!

Took it few months to fixed... but was fixed at last.

I signed up here specifically to reply to this post.

It seems that PowerDVD looks for the EXACT folder structure of a BDMV disc. I was trying to open my multiple disc folders that I have and one of them opened fine! From there on it was straigh-forward, I found the difference in that and the other discs, the absence of a folder named AUXDATA in the BDMV folder. So /disc/BDMV/AUXDATA folder needs to be there, even if an empty folder and then the disc folder is properly recognized by PowerDVD and it plays it just like a physical BD with menus and everything.

EDIT: I was using PowerDVD 19 btw, but I think it should also work for older versions.

EDIT2: Oh damn. I didn't see that the thread had a second page, oh well still keeping this in case SOMEONE finds it.

Thank's for your information.
I didn't know about the Auxdata, but I check my Blu-Ray's colection and all of them have that file.
Anyway, thank you for that tip.
