Random clips become uneditable after saving, closing and reopening PD

You have been so much help. Thank you. I have also been working with Cyberlink support and just sent in a bunch of files and logs they requested. Perhaps they will find something. You are helping me get some work done tonight though, thanks.

Glad to hear it! I'm glad you've sent the details to tech support already. Hopefully they'll be able to find the still-present bug and get a patch out to us soon.

There's a brand new patch and it looks like the've fixed the unlink issue! Go *here* to download and install the 2907 patch and let us know if it fixes your issue.

Note, when this happened in PD12, sometimes you had to manually delete the affected clips from the timeline and then replace them and then things worked normally. The patch might fix everything just by opening the affected project, but try the delete/replace sequence if any clips are still broken.
