I too just purchased PD7 and received no key or download link. It's been over two hours. When a product says instant download that's what I expect to get. And $70 isn't chump change.
Cyberlink is lucky they are getting any money from me. During my evaluation of PD7 I received crashes and lockups on my laptop. I emailed support they sent me a canned response. It looked like they hoped I would go away. The response required me to fill out my laptop specs. This process would have taken me over an hour.
Maybe cyberlink should provide a program which gathers up all the specs of the computer the program is installed on and then ask me to email to them or attach the file. Could be easy. But no. I have to waste my time trying to get their product to work for me.
So, I installed the program on my spare desktop. Not a computer I would like to use for video editing but I figured what the heck.
It seemed to be working ok until it crashed and about 30 minutes worth of work was lost. So, I proceeded to continue but saving every 5 minutes or so. I still receive the occasional crash. BUt this is the way I have to use the program to be safe.
The irony is is that I tried all the other video editing programs and they all had similar or worse problems. I never found one that simply worked.
So, I chose to give CL my $$$.
It's sort of like the $700 billion bailout in the US. It's an awful thing but they say the alternative would be worse.
I have a company too and I would hate to think customers buy my programs because they are the lesser of all the evil junk out there. I hope they buy my stuff because they are superior to everything else. CL PD7 isn't superior to everything else it's just the lesser of all the other junk.
Anyway I purchased it today and have yet to recieve a key or download link. The information in my member's section is blank. Par for the course for cyberlink.
What did I expect.
Monday is only a few hours away.
