Any news on how to get the AMD drivers to work right? I am still getting the basic rendering

It may sound silly but mine was throwing up the same error this morning. The cause... The DVI cable was loose on the back of my monitor. Yes, really. It was displaying a perfect image but obviously not all the pins were making a connection.

I also have experienced this problem in the past. Image was perfect but throwing the error. Worth checking and eliminating the cable and/or connections as the possible cause.
