Ah - you mean the background images supplied with PD. They're just images that aren't intended to be used as slideshow backgrounds.

If you're using the slideshow templates in PD, the only way to control the background is as I posted above: (a) modify CameraView or 3D template or (b) place "background" image first in Scrapbook, Montage or Collage slideshow.

There are manual (very manual) ways to do it, but I'm not sure that's what you're after.

Cheers - Tony

If you modify the camera view images, how large does the image that is to be sliced have to be?

There's no specific size, but the smaller it is the fuzzier it will be.

In the tutorial, there are some samples shown. The smallest background image was 4000x2800px before it was split. The largest was 16000x16000px

If you read the video description, you'll see that there are much easier ways to split an image!

Here's the thread where this was discussed at length... http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/17146.page

Hi Tony, I used Photoshop to slice my background picture and that went along ok. The hardest part for me was trying to understand how to modify the "background" file under camera view. I ended up re-naming the background file and then re-named my new file to "background". Not sure if that's the way to do it but it worked.

Great job Gordon!

You have that thing under control. As long as the split files & folder are named as in the tutorial, it'll work.

There are some other frame sets available if you'd like, including some higher resolution ones.

Cheers & well done - Tony

Thanks Tony......what is the source of the frame sets that are available? I would like to download them if that's possible.
