Never EVER have I seen such issues re: Smartsound. Your persistence has been astounding. My suggestion at this point is if you really like SS, then get the Mother program from Smartsound, I have it and I feel like Mozart when I am composing a soundtrack. I think they did remotely access my machine. They spent a lot of time with me.

To be honest, I don't have enough need for SS to pay for their music. I don't, at least now, use PD for gain. This has just been a burr under my saddle.

I do have SonicFire Pro, so I can (and do) use the free stuff. Jerry Schwartz
