I have now tried ADM Catalyst Center whitch told me I have the latest driver.
And the Catalyst sw is v 11.8

so now I'm really confused.

My driver is now updated - same datae as yours - but the problem still exist.
When I click on Edit Audio in PD9 starts wave editor and loads the current music file, but the editor does not open completely.
I only get the icon in the taskbar.

Hi Anja,
How big is the audio file and could you attach it to this thread please? To allow editors to try out and see if they can replicate the issue.

I also think you should uninstall Wave editor and PD9. Reboot your PC and then re-install PD.

Patch 2930 did not contain any WE updates, it should have done but didn't. depending on what build you have 2504 patch contained the last update for wave editor (I think I've remembered that right).

I try to attach the smalest

... didn't work.

I started this issue with attaching 2 files.
Therefore, I tried with just one file (if it meant that the individual can only upload 3)
but when I submitter after using attachment nothing happens -
a small blue ring running round and round.
I've been really patient - the one time I went from computer
ate lunch with the family and returned
but when I came back was the little blue ring that worked there still
so was my patience exhausted.

I seems I can only make attachments once. Strange.

Hi Anja,
The following is just a guess.

Without any other info, what you're experiencing is a computer function issue (might be the drive is not responding/loading) and I don't think it's an online uploading issue. It would also explain the failure to load into Wave Editor.

Try moving the audio file to a different HDD and see if you can
1. Do so
2. then upload it.

HDD = Hard Drisk Drive
3 attachment with EACH post and I'm not aware of any limitation to file size.

I still have the same unresolved problems:
1) Wave Editor remains on the taskbar
2) I can only attach files when I create a new topic
3) I can not insert the image using the img tag in my answers even when the image is as publicly available on the web.

Documentation in the form of screen prints and a sound file is located at Sky Dive.
I've done both the folder with screen prints and the folder with the audio file available to the public.

I've created a new project
loaded audio files from the C drive, in this new project
clicked on Edit Audio
the same as previously happened -
Wave Editor opens, loads the sound file, and attaches itself as an icon on the taskbar.

I have no trouble attaching files when I create a new topic.
But if I try to attach just a single file in a reply, even if I only attached one or two when I created the topic, nothing happens.
It does not matter what file type I try to attach.

When I press Submit disappears the downloaded file name from the box but the description remains standing - and the little blue circle running around and around until my patience is exhausted.

by any chance are you using a dual screen setup?, or have you recently run such a setup.

The icon showing up, but no program situation I have occasionally experienced. I had run dual monitors and had a program positioned to open on the second monitor (windows always remembers the LAST location when closed). I then switched to single monitor mode (was watching TV on other monitor), but when i openned that program ... guess what icon but no program on the single monitor setup. Drove me insane for a while, restored from image, every trick, but just an icon. Hooked second monitor up, and there it was ... the long lost program. I do not know if that is your problem, just a thought. RTX 2060 SUPER 8GB GDDR6

Let's - clear the decks

I'd like you to uninstall PD9, Wave Editor and start again please. The suggestion of a dual monitor or "off screen" is the most likely explanation for me as well.

A full screenshot of your desktop may reveal a edge of Wave Editor members might be able to find if you supply a screenshot.

You also need to update your PD9 to the latest - hopefully not to cause you any further hassle.

I downloaded the audio file and it installed into PD9. Edit selected and was placed in Wave Editor successfully. I stored my files on an external USB pinged to stay awake.

Sorry about the patch suggestion, a wind swept moment, bit stormy here

I uninstall by going to
Control Panel
select the drop down to display All Control Panel Items
select Program and Features
Locate CyberLink Wave editor and highlight
Just below the page heading Select Uninstall/Change
or right click and select Uninstall/Change.
Do the same for CyberLink PowerDirector

One should next close the Control Panel as one has uninstalled the two programs one need's to. (selecting PhotoNow and uninstalling can be done the same way)

OK, re-installing PD9 next and then see what happens. Media Express is a separate program - leave it alone.

RE: CLCleaner rar files. These can be opened by a zip program or by WinRar and the contents unpacked.



PS Please make sure a screenshot is a full screen and full frame size. I couldn't read anything on the images you provided.

I can see that in the Documents folder on the C drive is CyberLink folder with lots of subfolders.
There are some files in folders under PowerDirector/9.0/MyPinPs and MyTitles.
What happens if I delete them?

Can I get when I reinstall avoid such things stored on the C drive, and instead is stored on D drive?

There exist both within the Applications folder and Program Files (x86) a CyberLink folder - Should these be removed?
