CyberLink has provided us with a hotfix for the cropping issue outlined here. Please only apply if you feel comfortable updating your program files. A patch should be released soon for all 365 users.
Steps to use the hotfix:
1. Close PhotoDirector if it has launched.
2. Go to the following folder in Windows File Explorer:
C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PhotoDirector14\Presentation\UI\Viewer\BehaviorHandler\SBHLayer\
3. Rename the file " CropToolHandler.kc " to " CropToolHandler_.kc " as backup at the above folder.
4. Download and extract the attached zip to get the new " CropToolHandler.kc " file.
5.Copy the new " CropToolHandler.kc " files to PhotoDirector folder below:
C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PhotoDirector14\Presentation\UI\Viewer\BehaviorHandler\SBHLayer\
6. Check the photo cropping condition in the Edit module of PhotoDirector 365.
