Hi there, I am trying to fix some old super 8 mm footages that I have just digitized on frame-by-frame basis. The main problem with the footages is that they are quite shaky. So I have tried to fix with the Content Aware Editing feature. After fixing it it appears that the images are more stable but that frame is incredibly shaky horizontally ! Pls find enclosed the 2 footages before and after the fixing .Also the Neat Video text at the bottom right corner appears "steady" on the footage before fixing , and "shaky" after the fixing. What went wrong ? Thank you.

Mmmh, too bad . I am not worried that much about the "Neat Video" stamp as it would disappear if I use purchased version instead of trial. What is worse is the bouncing sides. So, if understand right (apology for my not fluent English) , I would need to crop the image so that the bouncing part of the sizes would not be visible ? I do not like cropping as the image gets a bit bigger and loses sharpness, but if this is the only way I'll try it out and see.

You could use a mask that had a width that was essentially the size of the smallest video content window as the edges flicker. Don't resize as you would lose resolution as you fear. So, you basically have your video content with a black border surrounding it.

Thank you Jeff, In the meantime I have opened , by chance, the Camera Action Center Pluin. It features a few interesting adjustment options , including a 'video stabilizer' . I have produced a new video with this option and it looks like the video is indeed much more stable and with steady edges smile. If this is the case, my problem is solved but I will make more trials to make sure it effectively works. I attach what I got, the first clip shows side by side footages before and after stabilization. The second clip shows the staedy edges, no longer bouncing.
