@Michael

is there going to be a analog fix powerdvd 10?

like i said (I can understand your powerdvd 11 being all digital), but powerdvd 10 should have analog support till the end of life of the product.
i really don't think that the next up date to powerdvd 10 will have analog support agin.
nope the 2910 version doesn't have the AACS support for some of the new blu-ray discs like Rio or Star Wars and others.
yes you go back to 2910 version to watch your blue-ray but alot of the newer blu-rays will not play.
give me a brake, i can see that for your powerdvd 11 being the all digital.
but to turn off support in powerdvd 10 that played blu-rays just fine untill now,
was decided by CyberLink. even the new tv top blu-ray player have analog out and will play blu-rays through analog out.

so don't give me that bull that analogue switch-off is nothing that was decided by CyberLink.
the new patch CyberLink.3306(Ultra_Free_DVD110817-05) for powerdvd 10 ultra mark II
will not play any Blu-Ray disc any more. they completely cut out all support for analog monitors.
if you update powerdvd 10 and put in a blu-ray movie you will get [CODE = 0121]
ensure your display device uses a DVI,HDMI or DisplayPort connector.

Thanks CyberLink for crapping on your customer that don't like lcd monitors or don't have the money to buy a monitor.
nice update with the new patch for powerdvd 10 now i can't play a single blu-ray now!! thanks for shitting on thoughts ho still have analog crt monitors.
are we going to get an update to powerdvd 10 any time soon?
i don't think they will fix the problem since they can not reprodcue the issue.

Quote: Hi,

we can not reprodcue the issue you reported the title can playback normally on PowerDVD 10 Retail & iSales.

can you please provide more information, especialy we need to know your update history (is your base version OEM or full retail build)?

Michael
just as a test downloaded WinDVD PRO 2010 and the movie Rio plays just fine WinDVD PRO 2010.
soon as i played the blu-ray disc in WinDVD PRO 2010 for the first time it asked for an update witch
it did a quick update and started to play.

but powerdvd 10 ultra is asking for an update to play the movie.

it must be some sort of encryption update it needs to play.
not sure what you mean?

Pioneer Multi-Channel Receiver is a fake monitor it does not exist, it is for audio only. i only have one monitor and its a CRT monitor connected directly to the PC.

and that's not the problem since every blu-ray i have or ever played on my pc play with out a problem except the movie Rio
witch powerdvd is acking for an update.
don't know what more to give you.
every blu-ray i have playes fine except the Rio movie,
all the blu-ray movies i rent from blockbuster play just fine unless they are badly scratched.

the movie Rio is the only blu-ray that is asking for an update to powerdvd 10.
