PD9 works brilliantly with native Canon 5D MkII files.
No stuttering renders really quickly
I use it on an Intel I5

Bob B
Overlap for me. Always used it.

Linda

No different problems to ones I had with 2519.
I had it from when it was issued.

Bob B
I also had the jerky magic motion with v2519.
I installed patch 2227C straight over 2519 and it worked no more jerkies.

Bob B
I downloaded the update
It asks to uninstall powerdirector first
If No it exits
If yes it stops unable to find a dll
I have emailed tech support

Anyone with similar experience?

Brian,

Like vn800rider Im pretty sure it makes no difference to importing or editing the Sanyo files. It would make a difference in Producing a file to make a DVD to play on a TV. In that case you should set the box at Edit/Preferences/General/TVFormat to suit your TV.

Hi Adrian,

I too have the Sanyo HDC 1000. I have PD7 on Vista core 2 duo CPU.
It handles the Sanyo files effortlessly.

I use 1280 x720p to make great looking HD movies. I have found there is not any noticeable difference using 1080i. In fact if there is lots of movement its worse.

I have PD6 Trial, Vista home premium and a Sanyo HD 1000 camera which uses H264 MP4 files.

PD 6 handles these files brilliantly in the editor and produces AVC MPEG4 files which it will not load giving the error message

"An error occurred when opening this media file in the media library"

The files play in Quicktime, windows Media player and K-Lite BUT AUDIO ONLY.!!!!

Strangely they play fine in Nero showtime.

Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.
