PD has suddenly started stopping and displaying this rendering icon even for simple timelines. I have never seen this before.

I thought shadow files might have been turned on but they haven't. It also showed up in the same screen position whilst producing my video.

Has anyone seen this before.

EDIT======> re-loaded old 296.10 Nvidia video drivers.

Yes this happens to me constantly. I don't know how to fix it. Also is this link telling us how to fix it or that there is no fix? --------------------------Signature----------------------

Thanks Cranston for the link.

Possible solution, not though if the problem with PD in the link was random.

I went back to old Nvidia drivers, specifically to 296.10 and PD no longer has the pre-render icon popping up.

Some more background on my situation. PD's problem with the render icon was not the only problem I have been having. I also was and may still, I haven't tested yet, getting freezing of Diablo III, similar to PD freezing while the pre-render icon shows.

So bottom line, my computer is powerful enough with SLI 460gtx graphic cards as to not need pre-rendering, plus other programs on my computer suffering freezing and lastly, never experiencing this problem since installing PD, makes me think it may be my graphics drivers.

I will report back after I have played a session of Diablo III. This may take a while though as it is not predictable but does happen most sessions.

My only thought though is if this was happening last year as the link shows it may not be the graphics drivers.

In my experience it is due to video drivers,I had a small discussion about it here before it got locked.
