No further assistance needed I have requested a full refund. This software does not work !!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased Power directory 9 (PowerDirector9Ultra_2701_VDE110120-01.exe)

(4) days ago I have all sorts of errors. The Cyberlink tech support has been zero help. The errrors I am getting only happen when I attempt to burn dvd to either disk or dvd media. I can burn blu-ray. However I would like burn any media without issue. Right now I am at a point I will ask for a refund. Does anyone have a idea ???

The errors when I burned to disk are:

1) Burning unsuccessful
This error appear near the end of encoding at 98% completed

Error Code: eC0030011
Possible causes:
Transcoding engine's front end stream
error
Might be due to:
1) Broken or missing source file
2) Out of system memory

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I burn to dvd I get the following error:

1)Muxer gets incorrect bitrate

The tech support has suggested to remove the lastest verion for Power directory and go back a verison that produced the same results.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The specs are as follow:

Dell Xps 8300 I5-2400 processor
8gb memory
Ati Radeon Hd 5450 1gb
Windows 7 home premium

This is a new machine I removed all other burning programs. The only software I am running that could cause any issues.

1) Vlc
2) photoshop 5

The E series error code seem to be related to Disk Burning Speeds.
And maybe to the brand of disk you are using.

Try reducing your burning speed in the Disk Burn module, Configure Drive button next to the Current Drive text box.

We are not cyberlink, you will not get any money out of any of the editors in the forum.

If you want a refund, you have to go to Cyberlink Support.

After digesting all the articles on this error – (in my case – DVD format burned great, but got the error when trying to create Blu-ray disks), first tried to eliminate project file component / naming issues – by stripping off an AVI file and bringing it back as one entry on the timeline, with new chapter marks. No difference. Then tried a 2 min video, no difference (when burning the Blu-ray). In the end, uninstalled the software, including all preferences, and deleting all residual folder, and reinstalling. After reinstalling turned off the hardware accelerator, and the Blu-ray burned with no problem…
