Only issue i have with powerdirector 13 since upgrading to windows 10 is the voice over no longer works ,checked all settings in windows and all is ok,voiceover on corel videostudio x8 and works perfect.

Have noticed cyberlink powerdirector capture drivers seems to be set by default to corel capture driver and will not allow me to change that option as it can not see any other device?

Have tried several mics,3.5 pin jack, usb mic and webcam ,makes no diffence at all, windows 10 has no problem finding new hardware and other software using mics have no problem,

seems to me its a cyberlink issue.hope they will find a fix for this soon as dont want to downgrade to windows 7.

Real shame as i was using pd13 voiceover most of the time.dont want to uninstall corel as both programes i use alot

Quote: I'm having green preview screen too with windows 10 too. Rendered video is green. Going to preferences and turning off "Enable hardware decoding" fixed the green screen, but obviously made rendering slower.

Graphics card is integrated intel HD Graphics 4600. Driver is updated to latest and designed for windows 10.

"Version: 15.40.4.64.4256 (Latest)

This driver adds support for the new Microsoft Windows® 10 64-bit operating system for Intel® 5th Generation Intel® Core Processors and 4th Generation Intel® Core Processors with Intel® HD Graphics and Iris™ Graphics. This new driver also supports various Windows 10 features."

I edit a weekly video for a newspaper website and after getting a new W10 laptop last week, found the same issue. Having just browsed through this forum and seeing the above, I can confirm that this works. Goto Edit > Preferences and then select HARDWARE ACCELERATION it's the second check box.

Cheers for the help guys

Quote: I have several versions of PD running on Win10 and haven't seen any problems. If you have an Intel CPU, you should definitely update to the latest Intel HD video *driver* that JohanAziz mentioned.

On all 3 of my systems, I had to manually install the Intel driver as the new Win10 Windows Update wasn't showing that an update was needed. Be sure to get the correct version - the desktop driver is different from the laptop version which is different from the notebook and tablet version. If you're not sure which version to get, try the Intel Driver Update Utility on the left side of the webpage.

Why we need update intel graphic driver?? I got I7-4790K and GTX 970!! Anyway my intel graphic driver is new. PowerDirector 10 still render on WIndows 10 (green stripe)

Turn off hardware acceleration if you have a green stripe.

If that doesn't solve the problem, please start a new thread with your system's DxDiag test results as described in the *Welcome* sticky. Also please attach a screenshot of the problem or do a video screen capture and post the link to it on YouTube.

Update: I was able to burn this DVD if I leave the menu default, and checkbox create temp folder.

PD9-Ultra64
Windows 10
RAID0 x 4 HDD (PD9 & Files)
850 PRO SSD (OS)
i7 5930K (No OC)
16GB DDR4 Quad @ 2666MHZ

I successfully burned a DVD from 1.17GB.mp4
Unsuccessful burning a DVD from 4.45GB.mp4

It hangs:
Sometimes it makes it to 60% other times at 1% or 2% etc..
First at rendering animation bar.
then the progress bar.
It never makes it to DVD burning.

I monitor the Task manager to see Disk/CPU/RAM activity die.
