Hi,
I'm not sure if anybody has encountered this problem? Every time I import a MPEG-2 file, it comes up with a error message - despite all my files working perfectly on VLC, Dropbox, iMovie etc.

If so, is there a fix to solve this? I keep having to convert my files to MP4 which is not the best way forward!!

Thanks

You don't say what the source is for the MPEG or what the video's deep specs are.

Open the MPEG in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the text of this report and paste it to this forum. With these detailed specs we can better offer you specific advice.

Hi,

Did you solve the issue? According to the published specs MPEG-2 should be supported.

unless there is something special about your source clips?

If you haven't solved it, the exact error message would be useful.

Given that there are not so many Mac users on the forum, you may want to contact Customer Services and raise a support ticket with them.
