Chapter Room button is greyed out

Hi,

I'm new to PowerDirector 15, so this might be a really obvious question but the Chapter Room button is greyed out. I have video & title files in the timeline (I saw a previous question where this was the issue).

Is it because I don't have a paid/premium version? Which I'm guessing it isn't as it came pre-installed on my laptop.

Try this: Click the Create disc tab. If the page does not open then you could get an informational message that the version needs an upgrade. That would be the reason the chapter button would be grayed out. Let us know in your next reply if this is the case and the exact version number by clicking on the word PowerDirector on the top left.

Yes, I got the informational message - so I guess that means the Chapter Room feature is not available for the level of the software version I'm on (15.0.4409.0). So if I upgrade to PowerDirector 365 that feature is included, or would I still need to upgrade to a paid level for that? (I looked at the version tables on the website but it's not all that clear exactly what you get for the different levels).

Yes that and many new features will be available. You can purchase the 365 plan pretty cheap now with the valentine’s day discount.
