Hi Tony,
Thanks. I appreciate your help on this.
I have made such a statement in my posting because I have gone through lots of bugs and even lost few DVD media when PD crashed on me! Its all out of frustration, nothing else.
Now to the problem. The file in question is converted from mp3 to wav. I did that myself using nero encoder. The reason is that the mp3 file as such will stop playing (after rendered into the movie) at some point in PD. I thought converting to raw PCM wav file might make PD's job easy. But it did not work. The file plays fine on all media players. Even PD can play both the original mp3 and its wav file. But originally when I had the mp3 file, after I have rendered the whole project, some parts of this music file will be missing sound! I can see that in the file itself when PD generates graph. The parts that will not produce sound will be a simple straight line, but the area where the sound is produced will have proper wave graph.
So either I need to fix the original problem in the mp3 or convert to a format that PD likes using the tools you have mentioned.
I have few more questions.
1. Are there any tools to analyze and fix mp3 files that would not generate proper wave graph?
2. Does PD support AC3 format?
To answer Dafydd ,
The build I have is 8.0.2220
Thanks,
