So, you might be capable of telling us more about your video codec details.
In the info your currently posted I can only guess that if you particularly recorded the video in 4:2:2 color profile using the Canon camera.
The 4:2:2 profile is not supported to play in powerdvd. The player only supports 4:2:0.
It might cause the playback issue you saw.
Did you record your video in HEVC 4:2:2 color subsampling profile?
