Hi!

Trying to convert a few old VHS tapes to MPEG2 with Video2PC tool.
Having connected kit RCA cables with my old VHS with USB on the other end. Win10 installed on my PC.

PowerDirector dialog box says: "Unable to load the disc content. The disc does not content any content supported by Cyberlink PowerDirector."

Obviously I have some problems with connections and though there are problems with the analog signal from VHS.
Having checked the connections. Everything looks OK.

Any ideas what the connection problems could be?

Hi,

Can you confirm the version of PowerDirector, please.

If it is indeed PDR8 (or PDR18 with a typo) then I will move the topic to the correct forum.

Thanks.

The Ion Video2PC device comes with PD9 de version according to the company information back in 2014 where Windows 7 was the current OS at the time. These are the links from the manufacturer: https://youtu.be/VZlkDcbApiI . The video is pretty good in explaining each step.

The device does not work in Windows 10 in 2016 according to this user: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware-winpc/video2pc-class-compliant-driver/ec35c05e-8bd0-4845-abb5-d8a5bb092386 . Others in this forum have got it to work in 2021.

Thank you for your answer.

I'll try to run it under Win10 or use any other software for conversion, although if the device doesn't work in win10 I can't get the signal on PC undecidedcry
