Is there a way to make your own collage layouts?

I'm editing some virtual choirs and am looking for 3x3 and 4x4 layouts etc.
Generally juggling up to 12 videos on a screen.

I was hoping to even similate a 7x7 layout like Zoom conferencing allows.

At the moment I'm manually resizing the video tracks in the PiP tool but that gets time consuming.

I don't think you can make your own custom collage templates. You can however download more from Directorzone:

Not sure what you mean by manually resizing the video tracks, but the easiest way I've found creating any of these types of videos is using grid lines. The videos will quickly snap into place when resizing.

You can see what I mean in this article on creating these types of video in Powerdirector:

Here's my tutorial on creating this "Brady Bunch" style grid manually.

Thanks Ash, I had missed the ability to add a grid and resize to snap.

In terms of the collage templates available for download, they only go up to 7 videos. If we had bigger versions of these then it would be even quicker than the grid + resize to snap option.
Other people have contributed their video collage designs but I think they have been variants of the inbox templates.

To my opinion it is also possible to make a combination of collage templates and the grid option, by making for example 4 different collage projects and bring them into a a new 2x2 grid project as nested projects. This gives a quick 4x7=28 videos layout. Recware: DJI Osmo Pocket, GoproHero7Black, PanasonicFZ300/HCX909, Sony PXW-X160.
