Powerdirector 16 - 'Set Duration' in 'Set Clip Duration' is greyed out

I am using PD16 version 16.0.3424.0, SR: VDE 181119-02.

For some reason I am not able to set clip duration on any of my project clips; it is greyed out when I accessing it by high-lighting the clip then right click and select Set Clip Attributes. I tried moving another clip to the timeline but the same thing happened. I tried the same thing on previous versions of the project with the same result. I am at a loss why this is happening. Can anyone throw some light on this please. Thanks.

only thing you can change the Set Clip Duration-Set Duration is for the still photos in the timeline. actual videos you must cut, trim off to the desired duration in the project.
