Quote Many of the free downloaded transitions do not have descriptive word names, just a number for the filename. Can I rename the .dztr file before installing it?

Hi,
The DZ download process allows you to name and save the .dztr file to whatever you choose.

However, that does not appear to change the name of the transition after installation into the transition library.

The library name is held in the TransitionTemplate.xml variable Alias=" XXXX".

To change the library name you can edit this variable in a plain text editor to Alias="My Transition" or whatever, then the library name will change to My Transition.

Not straightforward, but possible.
