Totally Agree! This is really annoying.

I finally decided to copy a MP4 file into the timeline and Produce it without making any changes using SVRT. The 38 min. video took 24 min. to make an exact copy of the original file. That is ridiculous.

Does anyone know if the bug has officially been reported to the software development folks to fix this?
(I don't think this forum automatically reaches the people who need to know about this.)

Some SVRT broken issues were corrected in the most recent PD18 patch, 2725 for perpetual and 2717 for subscription, what version are you using?

You might check if the new version corrects your MP4 issue.

I was on PowerDirector 365 version: 18.1.2405.0
(I had "Preferences / Internet / Automatically check for software updates" checked in PowerDirector.)

UPDATE:
Thank You "JL_JL". There were updates available (the one you mentioned) even though PowerDirector was not notifying me of their existence. I manually looked in the Cyberlink Application Manager and found an update shown as available there.

I guess PowerDirector may have an issue with "Automatically check for software updates" option in Preferences.

I can verify the version: 18.3.2717.0 fixed SVRT on my system.

Thanks Again "JL_JL"
