There are several threads on the forum dealing with this already. Did you search before posting? You might find this one informative.

If not, or if that doesn't explain why you can't import the clip into PD18/365, please upoload a short sample clip to a cloud folder and paste the link to it here so other people can take a closer look.

I have a Canon XF 300. I plan on changing the Bit rate to 35 Mbps (VBR 4:2:0). Hopefully this takes care of the problem. Thanks again everybody.

There are some versions of Powerdirector that do support the MXF video format.

https://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdirector-video-editing-software/comparison_en_US.html

Scroll down to 'Performance & Formats', Look for "Import .MXF (8bit 4:2:0 AVC/XAVC) NEW"

As far as I know PD18 is the first Powerdirector to import MXF format.

but unfortunately it doesn't support (10bit 4: 2: 2 AVC / XAVC).
Many people in our forum have problems in this format.
You won't have any work on that?
As far as many video editing programs are opening this format.

This is a user forum, we're not Cyberlink. If you want to let them know that you'd like to see other formats supported, the best way to do that is to use Rate Us & Provide Suggestions under PD's File menu.
