Hello:
I purchased Power Director 17 Ultra to upgrade from Power Director 12 and to have the option to burn Blu Ray.
But when I tried to burn the first Blue Ray Disk, I received the following error:

Burning unsuccessful
error code ec00c0005
possible causes: transcoding engines front end stream error might be due to

file broken

file missing

out of memory

Never had this problem when burning DVD on Power Director 12

Any help?

Thanks

I would imagine this is a driver issue. Please follow the steps in the Read Me Before Posting sticky thread at the top of the forum, and attach the DxDiag test results along with a screenshot of PD's version screen. That will likely tell us what the problem is, and we can tell you what might need updating to solve the issue.

First to check, do you have BlueRay disk selected in Create Disc > 2D disk?

Be sure you have also selected the correct size bluray disk on the dropdown.

If you have been burning DVDs, you may forget to change the disk format in Create Disc. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.
