How do I remove the black borders on each side of the portrait photos?

The short answer, you have to add an image or color board to fill in the black area.

Put a Color board or image in 16:9 ratio on track 1, put your Portrait photo on track 2. You will have a full 16:9 image with no black borders. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.
