PowerDVD 18 Ultra not working consistantly with my LG BH12LS38 internal blu ray

Hi People.
First posting on this forum. I just got PowerDVD 18 and am trying to play blu rays. I have an older Holy Grail disc circa 2012 that runs like 20 percent of the time after I fiddle with restarting or ejecting re-jecting the tray. My newer discs run like 5 percent of the time. Is there a trick to these drives or Windows 10 or?
Thanks.

You can start the disc playback successfully, but the playback interrupted after it played for a while?
Update your BD drive firmware from LG, and then check the playback again.

If it does not resolve the problem, contact support.

Thanks for the reply.
I flashed the firmware to the newest version and did the ATA SATA two channel removal (in device manager) with no effect. I'm thinking the drive is just too old. Newer drives are Windows 10 compliant. I got the possible soloutions for drive specific support so I doubt LG could help me much more.
Thank you for the suggestion however.
