I've seen a few posts of various PD versions but just wondered if anyone knew of a fix for PD15, or why all of a sudden it's started crashing randomly on me.
have run dxdiag but it's all showing as ok. PDR.exe currently showing as using about 1GB RAM (not sure if this is normal or not?!?!)
PD version is 15.0.3929.0, version type: Ultra

Please post the Windows dxdiag.exe result from your computer. Near the end of that is a list of errors that may tell us about the problem, There is no personal information except for the name of your computer,

Thanks very much for posting the test results.

There is a newer Intel graphics driver that was released on Oct 9 (yours is from Sept 28). You can download and install it from here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28240/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10?product=80939

As stevek mentioned, the report shows the last 9 significant crashes at the end of the file, and they show that PD (v15.0.2820) caused two crashes, and after you applied the 3.929 patch, PD caused two more crashes.

The other 5 errors weren't caused by PD (at least not directly), and I'm wondering if you're overclocking your system. If so, maybe dialing back the speed even by a couple % may give you better stability.

If you're not overclocking, you can try opening an Administrator-level command prompt (use Google for more info) and type sfc /scannow so Windows can check its core files for damage. SFC can repair most problems that are found, and it should only take a few minutes to run.

Hopefully at least one of these steps will help!

Hi,

Please submit a support ticket to CS and then respond here with your ticket number.

Other users have also reported this type of issue recently and the more information the CS team gets the better. This type of crash may point to an issue with your GPU/drivers but this would need confirmation.

Thank you.
