The bottom of the "Specs" page on the PowerDirector Subscription page states "Note: One subscription plan is for single (1) PC use at a time only."
If it can be done it would most likely be a violation of the end user license agreement.
The subscription statement can also be clearly interpreted as allowing the software to be installed on more than 1 PC
as long as only a single end user is accessing the editor at any given time. The key is "1 use at a time" per license.
Software that is tied specifically to one machine will usually not allow installation on a 2nd machine without first uninstalling it from the original device. However, many publishers will allow several installations before putting a "hold" on further activations, and PD seems to be in the latter category.
I just ran the AppManager on my Surface Pro 3 after first installing all programs on another machine, and I was able to install PD17 successfully. As long as I'm the only person to use PD on each device, and as long as I only use one device at a time, I now have more flexibility while still fully complying with the terms of the subsciption.
