I just can't seem to figure out how to use keyframes to add a PIP video over an existing clip, I see the PIP video for 1 frame at the start and "GOODBY" and never to be seen again. Also I can't find any tutorials on it.
Please enlighten me somebody!
Thanks so much in advance! If a picture said a thousand words, I would never stop talking!!!

Could you explain a little more what it is that you're doing. It might just be me (I've got a long history of misunderstanding things smile ) but to add a PIP be it a video or animation I would drag it to a video timeline so that it appears over the top of the background image/video. Having done that you can certainly 'keyframe' it for instance to fade it in and out or manipulate it in other ways.

p.s. - if you google "Powerdirector PIP" you'll find lots of YT videos which will help.

I kinda get that part, the problem is I can't figure out how to do the keyframe thing. How do I put a Keyframe for in and a keyframe for out and as you said manipulate in other ways.
It is the keyframe thing I can't figure out.
Please explain or send a link for a tutorial on how to use keyframes.
Also I would like to know how to put a frame around the little videos that I PIP in the corners of the main Video background.

Oh as far as an explination as to what I am doing; I have a main video and just run a couple short little videos in the corners.
I would like to control the little videos with keyframes as to when the come in and out. If a picture said a thousand words, I would never stop talking!!!

You could do a lot in PiP Designer without using keyframes. As explained by Longedge if you want to it to move, change in position over time, change in size(scale) over time, change opacity over time then you would use keyframes to accomplish it. This tutorial should help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iq1HsYuGbhg . See at 14:00 in the video where a selected motion path and the keyfames added for position. This is just an example. Better to watch the whole tutorial. It should help. You can keyframe the opacity to display, not display, fade out.
