My first capture from a webcam is out of sync

Hi Everyone -

I am new to PowerDirector 16 Ultra. I created my first capture with a logitech webcam. To my surprise when I replayed it the audio was several seconds behind the video. I thought I had asked the program to do something very basic and couldn't understand this result. I am using Windows 7. I would appreciate your insights as to why this happened and how to avoid this in the future. Thanks!

Hi, it happens all the time to me. I unlink the audio and video track, slide the video along 3-4 seconds (as one track) and output the preview as mp4

its likely the voice over Internet part I think

Thank you so much for your help! I'm kind of surprised that this program would have such a glitch, but oh well... and I will do as you suggest.

i don't believe it's the capture, I believe it's the sending software.

Would you mind explaining what you mean? In addition to trying to import some footage, I tried a capture with the webcam command that's part of the software, and I got a desynchronous result there as well.
