Menu page not previewable from menu page preview and not applying to finished project...

I just wrapped up a large project and created a new menu page with everything I need this morning. I had done this for a similar sized project I did on PD 15 20 months ago and it worked.

Now, however, when I click on the preview at the bottom right of the page to make sure everything is good with the completed menu, it just goes straight to the beginning of the project video and doesn't preview the menu page.

I know from a project I imported into PD 15 from PD 13 6 months ago and tried to add a menu page to that since I am seeing nothing in preview, for some reason it isn't applying the menu to this project (it wouldn't work for that project 6 months ago either despite trying and burning multiple times so I just gave up).

Does anyone know why or what the problem may be? I am excited to finish this up and burn it to Blu-Ray but given the size of the project, a menu page is almost a must for it to be truly complete. Any insight on what may be causing this issue or additional steps I need to take to get the menu to apply to this project is very appreciated.

Looking at the DxDiag.txt that you posted previously on Apr 15, you are on the initial 2026 build of PD15. You need to update to build 3424 or 2820 to fix all those issues you have.

Try this too: Uncheck all those checkboxes in Preferences/Hardware acceleration to see if it helps with your editing.

The current issue is caused by setting the Playback mode to 2 and having the auto menu timeout checked. Set it to the top one to fix it.

Thanks Tom. I have tried to find where you are referring to in regards to Playback mode. Are you talking about the playback mode for the project where it says movie or clip? Is it the playback mode when creating a new menu? In checking both, I couldn't see a setting for modes (except movie or clip) and where the auto menu timeout would be.

Sorry but I'm still a novice at a lot of this stuff. The project is now completed and I can burn without a menu page. GIven the length of the project, it would be significantly enhanced if I can figure out what is wrong and get it to stick to the project. Thanks again.

Please read this sticky: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/50105.page#post_box_263484 for taking screen snapshots.

Go to the Create Disc module/Menu Preferences tab. You should now see four checkboxes at the bottom left. To the right of this you should see Playback mode: There should be a statement filled in. To the right is a button to Set your disc’s playback mode. Click this button and a popup window displays. Take a full screen snapshot and post it in your next message as an attachment. This will help us with your problem.
