I am considering upgrading to Suite 7, I currently have Suite v5 what will the cost be? Thanks, I also have a bunch of older Cyberlink stuff on this comp. I do not plan to do music or data storage, just video editing mostly whihch would be my best program? I do like the later versions of Media Show that show all your videos and pics (I have 21,000.00 total vids and pics just on one USB drive.. I also have Corel ULead and it is nothing but frustration, Have Roxio too. I would like the top of the line but do not need BlusRay capability. Thanks in advance for any and all advice

Hi Dick,

If you want to be able to carry out serious editing, then do NOT purchase DVD Suite. The version of PowerDirector included with DVD Suite does not include all the functions or templates of the full version.
As you do not require Blu-Ray, PowerDirector Deluxe is the program you require.

Hi Dick,

Uninstall any previous versions of PowerDirector in accordance with Part C.

http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/2405.page

Then install PowerDirector 7 and activate, you can then install the Vacation Pack, which will self install when unpacked. Your post is a bit ambiguous as to whether or not you have actually managed to download the Vacation Pack, the link should have been provided with your confirmation of order.

Robert

PS
Remember to make a copy of the PowerDirector package and copy to DVD or an external hard drive

Well PD7 worked flawlessely for the time I had the trial, that is why I bought the program. Now I try to burn a disk and get "error 80070008e, or something like that, the next time the program hung at 1% burning!! If it was required to remove all previous versions that should have been mentioned before I bought??
