Help Activating PowerDirector 16

I recently downloaded the trial version, then last night I decided to purchase PowerDirector 16. I received the downloads, and the activation codes. However, when I run PowerDirector, at NO POINT is there ever an option to activate the software. I still get the "Try with Watermark" or "Purchase a copy" options. Now I'm stuck. And there is no good e-mail support nor can I find anything online that actually helps. What can I do?

The trial version cannot be activated.

Having downloaded your purchased version and all additional files (depending on the version you'ver bought), first make backup copies of everything including your receipts and installation keys. Having done that you should now go ahead install your full version software.

Ah, ok. So do I have to uninstall the trial version?
I guess that's a bit weird because so many other trial versions online become active once you purchase the software.

Personally speaking, I think I would but I don't think it is absolutely necessary.

p.s. - others may know better as I have never used the trial version.

Yes, uninstall the trial version and then install the full version. The full version will then prompt you for an activation code.

Had this issue myself the other day.

To Longedge and Yusuf18,

Thank you both very much. I would have had no idea that the trial version didn't just transfer over like all other trialware.
But your suggestions were exactly my problem. Simple. If only Cyberlink had mentioned that in any of their correspondences.

Thank you again. Very much appreciated.
