Hi,

I bought a copy of PD16 today and am unable to install it.
I am able download Cyperlink applications manager but when I try and open it all I get is a large black sqaure in the middle of the screen. I've tried uninstalling the program and restarting several times in various combinations and I dont have any other video editing software installed.
I'm using windows 10 on a HP Pavillion 14

Any help is very appreciated

Paul

Is your computer up to date? Did you try shutting down your antivirus (disconnected from the Internet)?

Please post your Windows dxdiag.exe file so we can see what you are working with. Normally laptops do not have the processing power to do mmuch with video editing. .

I do not know if I understand your problem

You have downloaded the files that received link's by email.
2 click on file, 1_CyberLink_PowerDirector16_ (version)
It starts the installation, it takes a little while doing analysis of your pc.
Then install the material packages in the same way

Otherwise check here if your PC meets the specifications for PD16.

AMD Radeon R9 270 / AOC M2470SWD

I have tried disabling the anti virus and nothing changed.
I have no idea what a Windows dxdiag.exe is, but I'll find it if someone points me in the right direction

I have also attached a screen shot if what I was looking at for an hour
