A couple of years ago, I got this new Toshiba laptop. It has a nice Intel I3 Core proessor. I hope I got that right.

The operating system is Windows 10. PowerDVD 12 came bundled with the laptop. I prefer to watch my movies on my 9.7-inch tablet; as opposed to the laptop. I've an old DVD player that doesn't stream anything I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablet (SM T550) The tablet is currently using Android 7.

I am wracking my brain in trying to find a way just stream my DVDs from the laptop to my tablet. I've even gone so far to try the PowerDVD 17 demo. I do have access to Amazon Prime. Most of my movies are available. The one exception is on YouTube or Google Play.

Hello,

DVDs, or most discs for that matter, cannot be streamed to other devices. It is usually just video and audio files that are streamable.

Thanks for the reply, Dave. Plus, I discovered that I have a stripped down version of power DVD 12. There's no streaming possible with what I got. Funny thing is, the cost of buying a full version of powerdvd is similar to buying a few digital version of the movies that I want. $30 to buy the special edition of Lord of the Ring and an extra $30 to buy a few more
