Your issue is concerning, & has been raised previously in the forums.
I've been attempting to replicate it here, but without luck. It appears that you're editing the audio part of a recorded video. Is that correct? Or was it a separate audio bed?
Could you please post all the relevant MediaInfo reports for your video clip(s), seaparate audio track (if applicable) & the WAV file returned from ADR after editing?

I see now that the original AAC-audio stream also is shorter than the video file. Does that imply it's not a ADR problem?
Still, it's a strange thing that with some clips it's no problem, and with some other clips it is. Hope this helps a bit.
