Audi file shorter than original after editing?

Sometimes after I've edited an audio file in AudioDirector 7 and the WAV is send back to PD15, the audioclip is a bit shorter than the videoclip it belongs to, and also shorter than the original audioclip. Linking audio and video is no longer possible then. Any thoughts what might be the cause of this? ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello AdrieH,

Welcome to the AudioDirector forum smile

Your issue is concerning, & has been raised previously in the forums.

I've been attempting to replicate it here, but without luck. It appears that you're editing the audio part of a recorded video. Is that correct? Or was it a separate audio bed?

Could you please post all the relevant MediaInfo reports for your video clip(s), seaparate audio track (if applicable) & the WAV file returned from ADR after editing?

Hi PIX,

And this one is from the generated WAV-file:

General
Complete name : C:\Users\a3hav\Documents\CyberLink\PowerDirector\15.0\20180101_133941.wav
Format : Wave
File size : 2.98 MiB
Duration : 17 s 685 ms
Overall bit rate mode : Constant
Overall bit rate : 1 411 kb/s
IsTruncated : Yes
Audio
Format : PCM
Format settings : Little / Signed
Codec ID : 1
Duration : 17 s 685 ms
Bit rate mode : Constant
Bit rate : 1 411.2 kb/s
Channel(s) : 2 channels
Sampling rate : 44.1 kHz
Bit depth : 16 bits
Stream size : 2.98 MiB (100%)

I see now that the original AAC-audio stream also is shorter than the video file. Does that imply it's not a ADR problem?
Still, it's a strange thing that with some clips it's no problem, and with some other clips it is. Hope this helps a bit.
