I have a HDMI 1.4a non Atmos ready receiver

If i plug in one HDMI (Nvidia/AMD Audio) to my receiver for sound and one HDMI (Intel Kaby Lake VIdeo) to my UHD TV will Power DVD 17 work with UHD Blu-Ray?

ASFAIK It seems like you can only output audio via the main HDMI. Is this correct?

Do you set HDMI 1.4 (amd/nvidia) audio output as deafult playback device in Windows sound settings.

I don't have this kind of setup, but I may try the following configuration if I have the same hardware as yours:

Set HDMI 1.4 (amd/nvidia) audio output as default playback device in Windows sound settings.

Use Intel GPU's HDMI 2.0 port for 4k blu-ray video output.

Set powerdvd audio setting as "use hdmi to check the audio and video playback.

However, it's my assumption, not verified yet.

Yes. This is what I mean.

I am sceptical it will work, but for people who need a separate hd audio out (hdmi 1.4 av receiver) it will be useful.

So it would be nice to know if this is possible.
