I don't see support for the Chromebook anyway so I am hoping to find love and support here, in the cold previous version section.

Briefly, I bought a Chromebook for my daughter, (so I could get my laptop back.) It's great for most things, but of course more automony with the hardware opened up more expections, she wants to do videos for her slime-otory. I bought lights and an extra camrea, but PowerDirector 4.10.0 (for Android) will not allow me to pick which camrea to use. It defaults to the onboard cam. I know the camera works because I can go to one of the "test your camrea" sites and it picks the cam I have set in the Chromebook setting, (my external camera.)

No where in PowerDirector 4.10.0 does it allow me to choose which camera and its not using the camera default, (in Chromebook settings.)

Many thanks.

Good luck ! What is a slimeotory?

I know that the program was designed to work with a cell phone which has only one camera (not interchangeable) I also know that you can run certain Android programs with a Chromebook. Apparently this is one of them. I'm not sure anyone envisioned using the program with both a Chromebook and an external camera.

Why can't she use the internal camera on the Chromebook?

Since no one answered, perhaps no one knows or have tried using an external camera. Your best bet is to contact Cyberlink's Technical Support,

Slime-otory is where crazy kids have a staged area to make slime with glue and glitter, and stuff.

Power Director works quite with Chromebook but does have these limitations. I have the PC version, but was hoping to get my laptop back.
