Two Questions: Selecting Audio Device & Disc Insertion Startup

I'm having trouble finding the setting to route the audio to a different sound card than the default. My default sound card is not the one used for Movie audio playback.

Despite having no file types associated with PowerDVD it automatically opens whenever a video disc is inserted into a drive, and it's getting quite annoying. Again, I can't seem to locate the setting for this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Per my personal experience, if both of your audio devices have the same interface (e.g. PCI sound blaster) that installed on PC, and both card applied 3.5mm jack cable to connect with audio speakers, you cannot switch audio device output in powerdvd, but need to use windows default playback device setting to switch.
powerdvd settings only supports to switch audio device by interface (e.g. 3.5mm jack to HDMI, 3.5mm jack to S/PDIF).
For auto disc playback, you can go to windows control panel -> find autoplay -> change the auto play action when a BD/DVD/CD inserted.

I see, so it can't detect and switch between different output devices. My default sound card is built into the motherboard and the others are external USB. VLC has no problem doing this.

Ah, thank you for the settings path. That's exactly what I was looking for.
