I want to start making tutorial videos of our Under 10 ice hockey games and practices for my team.

Is it possible to use PowerDirector as a Telestrator where you can draw over video while recording the screen?

Thanks

There are better applications for this. After you have a video, you can highlight movement and add a voice over. Is that what you want to do? .

PowerDirector has a good screen capture program. But unfortunately, there is no option to draw on screen while recording. Have a look for "DemoHelper" in the googling machine of your choice. Maybe that tool fits your needs.

There are other tools for that purpose, like "zoomit" by SysInternals or "Epic Pen". Happy teaching!

Thanks Hatti - I was aware of some of these tools but was checking to see if PowerDirector could 'encompass' and cut down on some of the layered software-ing.... That said, thanks for the products and I think I'll make use of the capture feature and see what I can do with the rest of the items you have mentiones.

Thanks
