Hi there,

I'm not very computer literate but I'm wondering how to transfer Power Director 13 from my pc to my son's laptop. It's version 13.

Thanks in advance,

Natacha

You will need the installation files and key. If you have those then it's a simple and straightforward job. When done succesfully you should delete the software from your PC as the licence is for 1 x installation only. If you don't have the install files then you'll need to contact customer support and they will want proof of purchase from you. Hope that helps smile.

I can't find any emails from Cyberlink at all. Got it in 2015. Emailed them a few days ago but no answer. Do have a login but nothing shows up there.

Unfortunately there's nothing that anybody here can do to help - we're all users just like you smile.

Hi Natacha,

I had the same problem as I found my computer to be too slow for power director. I wrote to the customer support of Cyberlink as I was contemplating of transferring it to a new computer. Cyberlink sent me a new download link and key for my Power Director 13. This happened a few years ago when Power director 13 was still new and I had just purchased it. I am not sure if they will do the same for you considering that they aren't selling PD 13 anymore (instead they are selling the newer version). I recommend you write customer support. They were very helpful for me.

Thanks. They finally got back to me and will give me a link to download to new pc when I want to which is great. Didn't need the expense of having to buy a new copy at this time of year.

There is nobody in the forum who can legally help with 'lost' installation files/product keys. It is something that must be resolved by customer support. I have never had to go down that track but plenty of people have done so quite succesfully.
