Hi!
just bought powerdirector 16 (upgrade from 12). i have downloaded the PowerDirector Content Pack Premium 1,2,3 packs as well but honestly i don't understand what they are and if the content is already available in PD16 without any further action, since they were installed in a different directory with respect to PD16 main software

thanks!

Hi Bosone -

The Content Packs contain a collection of templates for titles, PiP Objects, particles, express projects, styles etc.

There are a couple of ways to check whether they've been installed:

First, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\templates... if they're installed, you should find 3 folders called "PowerDirector Content Pack Premium 1, 2 & 3"

Next, open PDR16 and go to the Titles room. Is there a template called "Science Fiction"? Is there one called "Soccer Ranking"? What about "Action1, 2, 3 & 4"? If those templates are present, all the Contents packs have been installed.

Cheers - Tony

Hi
I am on PowerDirector 18 and followed your advice.
However there is no text format for soccer action or the other ones, even after loading all 6 packs, essential plus 5/
I have 197 text templates though, which is enough, i just wonder if it installed properly and what else might be missing?
thx

Take a look at this new listing of all content packs and their contents.

Note that many items are created with specific aspect ratios, and content with ARs different from your project will not appear. For example, no 4:3 content will be visible if your project's aspect ratio is set to 16:9.
