Hi there,

Is there a way - apart from taking a snapshot - to put a split MP4 clip back to the Media room. I have an intro that requires 90 second clips to use in intro sequences and I want to send one of the clips back to the Media room to use over and over again without having to split and edit the main 16 second clip all the time.

Thanks in anticipation.

EDIT: The reason i don't want to use snapshot is that the sequence has "raindrops" and "scratches" in it, which I want to retain.

I think you'll find that the easiest way to do this is to produce the part that you want to save. Drag out the orange markers to the right and left of the timeline scrubber and the part you have selected will be highlighted. Now right click on it and choose to produce the selection. When you have produced the selection, go back to the edit window and that newly produced clip will now be available in the media room.

One way is to use the orange handles on the scrubber to highlight the clip and then select "produce range" This will take you to the produce page. Set it up as you want it and then press start. The produced clip will be sent automatically back to the media library for you to use as you want Panny TM10, GH2, GH4,
