Pu the audio file into Audio Director,, How many tracks do you see? If it all blended together, how can the computer (or you) decide what frequencies are music and which are conversations?
I know there is software that can minimize the voice in an audio clip bbut I don;t know if it workes the other way.

Hi,
I'm having a similar problem. I create fan videos of my favorite t.v. series. How do I remove the music in the video clip and keep the voices? I want to use my own music instead. I'm currently using PDR15 ULTRA and audio director 7. I also have wave director.
Do I need to upgrade to PDR 16 ultimate, or does Cyberlink sale a software to help me with this problem?

Same answer. If you cannot separate the music from the "voice", then it can't be done.

Thanks.
How have you done it in the past? Watch this for an example of cleaning up audio. .
Do you have any other Cyberlink software? Perhaps you can use the audio ducking (How to Video) in Power Director 16 to try to do what you want.
If you don't have it, you can try GoldWave (program). It has a lot of features and a free trial.

Hi creatorheughan, you've achieved a very effective use of sound.
If I'm correct in thinking, you've created your video by editing the film sync audio track by dipping the unwanted FX/music but keeping the dialogue of the actors, then adding your own music track. By riding the level of the music and adjusting the EQ of either the music or dialogue track to produce a clean sound. The link to the video that stevek has shown, gives an in-depth look at adjusting the clarity of the audio. In fact, it's the best in depth video I've seen so far, that shows in depth so much of how to use Audio Director.
Cheers
Dave.
I just want to edit and make pictures, walk my dog and go fishing.
