I just downloaded the trail version of PowerDVD 17.

I watch alot of subtitled shows/films and sometimes have to pause to catch everything, is there any way to hide the pause/play icon that appears in the topright corner as I can find it a bit distracting at times.

Hi Wakey,

If you move the mouse to the right side of the window, all the on screen controls are instantly hidden. If that is not what you mean, you can also go into General settings and deselect the Show OSD option.
