FPS differences in video sources
[Post New]
I am running PD 14. For playing around and learning, I shoot with my SAMSUNG S7 and find clips on YOUTUBE (capture using CYBERLINK Screen Recorder). What I end up with are 30FPS clips that are 29.97FPS from YOUTUBE & 29.66FPS from my SAMSUNG. My 60FPS SAMSUNG videos are 59.41FPS. This is causing my videos to "stutter" and not play smoothly. What am I doing wrong - how do I fix this?

I use a video downloader with which I can save YT files directly to my PC and I've never had a problem.

In your preferences you could experiment with your default settings where you could specify a default 60 fps and then try both with and without the drop frames option being enabled.

There are a few "DownLoaders" - which one do you use (since you are pleased with its performance). ET

"ClipGrab" - which to be fair I have only used with YT, but to date it hasn't failed me smile.
