How to output series of frames instead of viodeo

Is it possible to do this in PD? I know there is no GIF export (would be nice), but is there some hidden way to export the individual frames of a video from within PD? (I know there are free tools to extract frames from a video).

If not, I submit this as a request for a future version of PD.

That is what screenshot is for. You can advance one frame each time and take as many screenshots as you want.

And with hundreds of frames I'm sure that would be a lot of fun... NOT! I already knew about snapshot. But there are free external programs that can extract frames, etc, which would be MUCH preferable to: Advance - snapshot - advacnce - snapshot - advance - snapshot (for hundreds of frames).

Thanks, though.

Thanks. I'm already aware of this (both of my messages mention this), but wanted to avoid an extra step if possible. I thought maybe there was some hidden method/workaround that might have been discovered. I know that PD can import multi-image formats like .GIF and .TIFF, but don't know how deep that functionality goes.

Really it's not a big deal. Just thought there might have been something I overlooked (Wouldn't be the first time!)
