Slideshow movie jerky when using Movie Motion pan & zoom effects

To join in here..
I have a Q6600 processor on Vista with 4gb and Nvidia 9600gt video and PDR 7.

Over 100 images and a couple videos. On pan and zoom, the motion is unacceptably choppy and jerky. I have the latest patch installed too(2519). I refuse to lower my CPU core to try to "fix" this since it defeats the purpose of the addl hardware boost.

Please help Cyberlink!!! The pan and zoom are an AWESOME feature in this build and I use it regularly.

How can I get build 2227C? I uninstalled the version with the latest update and reinstalled from my disc. This version, however, is 7.00.1714 which I assume is before this 2227C. If I stay with .1714 what do I lose (bug fixes, features, etc?) Again, how can I get 2227c?

You may be in luck. Depending on what bug fixes were in 2227C you may not need it. Try making a slideshow with magic motion and see what happens.

I have 2227C because I didn't delete it when I updated to the latest patch. I always save the patch file installer when I download it and keep it in case I have to go back.

I also had the jerky magic motion with v2519.
I installed patch 2227C straight over 2519 and it worked no more jerkies.

Bob,

Have you had any other problems since installing the patch? Also, did you get it from tech support or did you have it? Thanks,
Linda

I can upload 2227c to a share site if anyone wants it.

edit:
Mmmm .... just thought, is there a licensing issue if I do that? Maybe Dafydd can comment.

Linda

No different problems to ones I had with 2519.
I had it from when it was issued.

I bought a new qaud core computer made a combo movie & slide show production using Power Director 7 Ultra (loaded with the 2726 Patch). The motion slide show portion was jercky and unacceptable. After reading many of these posts and I tried the following:

I Uninstalled Power Director and re-installed it - installed only the patch 2227C, burned a new copy to DVD and it worked Flawlessly!

Dave,
Take a look at the sticky post at the top of the PD forum. The question/answer already posted.
